District Nurses

The district nurses are based at the Britwell Clinic. They provide 24-hour expert care for patients at home as arranged by our doctors or the hospital. This includes dressings, administration of medication, blood tests (strictly housebound patients only), as well as support for chronically ill patients and their carers. If you are housebound, self-referral is possible via the nursing hub on 0300 365 1234.

Midwives

Please contact the surgery to inform us of your pregnancy. Our receptionists will take your details and inform our practice-based midwives who will then get in touch with you directly to arrange your antenatal care.

Counselling Services/Talking Therapies

If you need to see a counsellor, please make an appointment with either our nurse practitioner or one of the GPs, alternatively you can refer yourself to Talking Therapies on 0300 365 2000.
